My wife and I had lunch there this after noon and being from New Mexico USA I'm very familiar with what mexican food is supposed to taste like.  I was NOT disapointed the food and service was excellent we will be back.

Mexican food has always been a favorite of mine and I'm happy to have found another fine Mexican restaurant such a short drive from home.Thanks.

Food - Very good
Decor - Very good
Service - Very good
We needed a place for dinner that was kid friendly and this was a great choice. The menu choice was huge and all the food was great. The staff were freindly and helpful. We will be back.

I am from California, so I have high standards for Mexican food. Viva Zapatas is just terrific - the best nachos ever, and a huge selection of authentic and fresh dishes and drinks. If you want real Mexican food, don't go anywhere else! (Believe me, I've tried others..) I've been going here since 1998, and it's as good as ever in 2012.

Overall Very good
We had one of the Cudo vouchers - 2 entrees 2 mains 2 margaritas for $39. Fantastic deal. The only exception listed was that you couldn't choose the plato el grande for entree. Until you try and order the standard size nachos for entree then you find out you can't order that too. I mentioned it wasn't listed as an exclusion on the voucher and was told "i don't know, that's what I was told". Anyway, the nachos were delicious, the mains were nice, some lacked a bit of flavour but overall good. Margarita was very nice. The meals came out quickly but the service was ordinary, Saturday night and they seemed to have all young no care factor staff. It was fairly busy in there. I'd go back though.

I can't believe what I am reading. Last week we went to Viva Zapatas in Williamstown. They were flat out busy whilst most other restaurants in Williamstown were empty or CLOSED. This place had great Latin music (not your usual La Cookaracha Stuff). The staff were very friendly even though they were under extreme pressure. The food was to die for. I had the Beef burrito and can I say, it was full of flavour not like all the other generic slop you find in franchised operations. My friend had the fajitas and man for $25 you could share this meal with atleast two other people. We had coronas and a great cocktail for only $10 "Tropical Illusion". Hey I agree with "GET OFF THE GRASS". Viva Zapatas is authentic and the best in the west. Don't listen to some of these amaturs. Try it yourself and be sure to have their signature dish FAJITAS with their TROPICAL ILLUSION. You want regret it.
